The Council on Older Adults is pleased to announce the addition of a service within our Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementia (ADRD) Community Support Program. Thanks to gracious funding from The Thomas and Edith Wood Endowment for Alzheimer’s & Dementia Support of Cumberland Community Foundation, Inc, we will now be able to provide respite funds to family caregivers of individuals living with dementia within the community. Cumberland County Council on Older Adults was established in 1968 as a non-profit organization and fifty-five years later we remain committed to our original mission of helping older adults living in Cumberland County maintain their independence at home with dignity.
