Caregiver Respite
Caregiver Respite: A common thread found across many caregivers is the need for a “break” from caregiving, but the difficulty in taking one when resources or support circles are limited. Thanks to generous funding provided by the Thomas and Edith Wood Endowment for Alzheimer’s & Dementia Support of Cumberland Community Foundation, Inc., we are able to support caregivers of individuals living with dementia in their self-care efforts. The respite program provides one-time financial assistance during a time of need, allowing the family caregiver a temporary break in order to continue on their caregiving journey.
