In-Home Aide Services

One key component to remaining safely at home is the ability to manage basic personal and home care needs.   In-Home Aide Services assists older adults with personal care and home management needs including bathing/grooming, dressing, moving about within the home safely, using the restroom, light housekeeping, and more, all at no cost.  Service is provided by certified nursing assistants or personal care assistants, all supervised by registered nurses, through local contracted licensed home care agencies.  Personal and professional services are provided in accordance with individually developed care plans created by the registered nurse which are appropriate to each person’s needs and regularly reviewed.   

Eligibility Requirements: 

• Must be at least 60 years old 
• Must live in Cumberland County 
• Ineligible for Medicaid and/or VA Benefits 
• Partially dependent with at least one Activity of Daily Living
