Senior Companion

Volunteers visit clients in their home to provide companionship and connection to community, check on safety and well-being, and improve overall quality of life.  Clients receive a visit at least once a week for a minimum of two hours.  Additional support that volunteers may be able to provide to Senior Companion clients include minor errands, light housekeeping and transportation to medical appointments or for essential shopping; personal care is not provided by volunteers.

Volunteers may also be able to assist with light yard work and/or minor home maintenance (changing light bulbs, moving heavy boxes, etc).  A Senior Companion volunteer does not need to be in the home to access these services.
